Commissioner for health in Sokoto state, Ali Inname says the state has discharged all of its Covid-19 patients.

Speaking at a news Conference on Friday, Inname said the state had confirmed 115 Covid-19 cases of which 14 died due to complications.

He said the last batch of patients were discharged in Friday.

The Commissioner added that the patients were from eight local government areas of the state and that 85 percent of them were males.

He further stated that the states Covid-19 task force will remain alert as many test results were still pending.

According to him, 839 alerts have been received across the state and all of them were investigated.

He added that testing of suspected COVID-19 patients would continue, noting that any positive person detected would be taken to the isolation centre.
