Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has donated a sum of N10 million to the families of military personnel of 83 Battalion who were recently killed while in operation by bandits at Tati village in Takum local government area of the state.
The governor who was at the 93 Adah Barracks in Takum expressed sympathy over the incident and promised the state government´s support to the family members made up of widows and children.

Ishaku called on the people of the state to pray for the safe return of the commanding officer of the battalion who was declared missing after the operation.
